0944 – iced coffee with sweet milk

1130 – chicken rice

1700 – two mini chicken pies

1900 – chicken hor fun

Shameless Food Log:

0930 – kaya toast with butter, coffee with sweetened milk, two softboiled eggs

1300 – instant yakisoba noodles

1331 – hot mug of milk tea

1500 – two pieces of Starburst chewy candy

1900 – sweet & sour pork, fish in chili sauce, rice, cabbage, iced lemon tea

1717 – one piece of Starbust chewy candy

I almost shitted my pants just thinking about where I’m going to get money once 2009 rolled in, and to think that it’s less than two days away.  With luck, the finance department, which is basically made up of one guy, issued us our paychecks today.  Hopefully, it’ll be ready by tomorrow afternoon, just in time for the NYE celebrations at night.  But of course, I spent lunch break today drafting and re-drafting my budget.  If I follow it religiously I might walk into 2010 debt-free and with $3.5k in savings.  The thing about making a budget is that I realized how little I’m earning and how badly I need to keep a job.  Also, that I have no reason to slack off nor overspend; my, what a realization, eh?  Basically, you can just say I got a big fat slap on the cheek with my immature handling of finances and my way too idealistic (even hippy) outlook of life.  Well, I’m about to change that as I’m forced to grow up this coming new year.  Oh, and I’d have to bury any vacation plans as of now, I don’t really have budget for that.
