Lazy Daisy

I still haven’t found my phone’s headset.  I reckon I accidentally threw it out because yesterday my desk was filled with so much stuff that when I cleared it out I just scooped everything up and dropped it onto the bin.  Therefore you could very well say that all this hoopla is of my own doing.  So I have no headset and my phone’s usage will automatically drop by eighty percent.

Hormones are, shall I say, going haywire.  My general outlook has been rather sulky and moody and not at all cheery.  I am bored and I am going to pull my nails out to get a little action.  Sarcasm aside, I really am bored and that’s because the powers (read: cash) of distraction are at their all time low.  I truly believe in the power of retail therapy and I am in dire need of it now.

Work has been slow today.  I spent almost an entire afternoon surfing the internet and checking my FB account which, if you think about it, is rather sad.  A little part of that I spent reading the latest In Touch Weekly that miraculously found its way on my desk, no kidding.  And as always, I keep heading to the pantry to make some milk tea and that’s pretty much what sums a typical day for me.

The highlight of my day is when I hit my toe on the corner of my desk’s cabinet.  I enjoyed putting on the red junior band-aid with a picture of a blue zebra (don’t ask me why).  Oh the joys of childhood.
