I am so itching to go to Readyset Glo with The High Kicks (aka We Start Fires) this Saturday at Zouk. But before that I’m checking out Van She this Friday at the Zouk Beatnik Picnic Party sponsored by National Museum’s Night Festival. That’ll be so much fun!
Work has been stressful especially since my manager is sort of giving me tasks in sets, which means I don’t have a full grasp on what I’m really supposed to do. In a way I shouldn’t complain because at least I’m not given a truckload of responsibilities. Feeding them to me in portions is better, I guess. However, since I’m mostly groping in the dark with work, I didn’t realize I had a deadline to meet. So now I’m rushing my ass off to get it done. If it was only me who had a hand in it then I’d have done it sooner, but I have to woo all these clients first and getting them to say yes (or any answer, at least) isn’t easy.
Thus a weekend of dancing and just getting lost in the music would be a welcome reprieve for me. I can’t believe I’m actually looking forward to the weekend. I think my fate’s about to change.
