Wardrobe Mishap
With my limited amount of clothes here in Singapore (half of them are lying around in my closet back in Manila) I’d already found a comfortable way of pairing certain pieces together, sometimes I’d occasionally try to do a different mix. Today, instead of pairing my red tank top with my black jeans, I opted for the white jeans because I needed to include them when I do my laundry tomorrow. Thus, when I went to meet my uncle for lunch, I had the unfortunate horror of finding every single person wearing a red top and – gasp! – white bottoms; I totally forgot it was Singapore’s National Day. My uncle had a good laugh when he saw me walking towards him, even joked about how I was trying to be all Singaporean by donning the country’s colors – oh please.
