Slow Day

The weather today was perfect.  It rained like hell at dawn but the rest of the day was lovely.  It was cool and humidity was low.  I love.

Anyway, I feel a big deja vu coming and I know it’s not going to be good news.

Ok, here goes.

News Flash: I’ve been unemployed for a month now. Woah.

Okay, I need to go celebrate Halloween and forget about my sad situation.  I’m calling for salmon (with rosemary and garlic lemon butter), German sausages, and sweet white wine.  Who wants in?

Shameless food journal for today:

3:00pm – sliced steamed fish in garlic and ginger, and rice

4:00pm – coffee and kaya (with butter) bun

7:30pm – three takoyaki prawn balls

8:30pm – 250ml yogurt drink

9:30pm – one serving of Toppo

10:45pm – one serving of Toppo

11:15pm – one serving of original flavored Yakult and chicken bun

P.S. I bought a bathroom scale so I can keep tabs.  That’ll get me to literally watch my weight.  Tomorrow, or later today, I will be hopping onto the scale and announcing my weight *cringe*.  No one is allowed to even snigger once the result has been revealed, got it?  Good.

How I Lost Weight

Or how I plan to lose it.

Time Magazine says that, according to research, keeping a food journal helps.  How?  It tracks down eating habits and allows an individual to make changes.  So hey, guess what, I’m starting my own right here.

Shameful food list #1:

1:30pm – Chinese mixed rice of kangkong, sweet & sour fish, and pork stew

2:00pm – 12 oz. kopi (coffee)

9:45pm – 20 pieces of butter coconut crackers
