Anansi Boys
I’ve been dying to get my hands on Gaiman’s books but I always seem to forget once I’m at the bookstore. Also, because I am mostly always broke. Anyway, someone had loaned me their copy of Anansi Boys and it’s been sitting on my desk for months now. I decided to pick it up during Christmas season and I must say that Gaiman is quite the storyteller. The earlier works I’ve read were his children’s book, Coraline, which I loved as well. I can’t really make a claim here but can I just point out that Gaiman probably shares some similar DNA with Tim Burton. I’m more than halfway done with the novel and I’m hoping to finish it before 2009, which I just realized, is three days away. I shall spend more time with this in the toilet while I do some business. Haha. So if you haven’t read this one and would like to know if you should, I say, in light of Mr. Grahame Coats himself, “Absatively!”
