Round Up

As much as 2009 whizzed by like a blink of an eye, it has been the better one as compared to the year that preceded it.  The most memorable, monumental, and definitely etched in my mind forever is landing myself a job in one of the prominent and talented public relations agencies out there.  I give credit to a PR veteran (you know who you are) who took the time to email me after reading my About page.  After going through his email it gave me the momentum to go out there and be more proactive in getting what I want.  For obvious reasons, I have never been more thankful.

This year also marked a time of finding a best friend even in the most obscure (okay, maybe not entirely) of places.  There’s really no way for me to explain how it all began without sounding cheesy and absolutely nerdy, so I won’t.  Still, I think everyone who knows the both of us will attest that we are different shaped cookies made from the same batter.  Hopefully, our friendship carries well beyond 2010.

I’m getting slight jitters for the coming new year but also very much excited to have a clean start.  The perils of being twenty-three has been battling with the finances.  I am very close to being debt-free and I am certain that I’d be able to reign over it in time.  Hopefully, 2010 will be the time I finally grow up and start saving  for the big stuff and to finally get my future on track.

Here’s to a better year for all of us.

Feliz Navidad

For some reason, I rather like Christmas this year. Maybe because things haven’t been going as bad as they used to and that I have more reason to be thankful for.

To everyone who’s seen me through my ups and my downs, I’m glad you don’t think I am entirely crazy – or hopeless. Okay maybe just a little bit crazy.

Hope everyone is having a kickass Christmas because I know I will.  I’m going to see Avatar in 3D this early evening.  Yeay!

Prospero año y felicidad!

Profess Your Love to Absofacto

I love Jonathan Visger‘s music.  He just released his latest song the other day and I can’t stop playing it.

Tell you what, if you love it too, I’ll buy it for you.  Consider it an early Christmas present from me and a way to help artists continue to make great music.

So go and Profess Your Love via the comments section once you give it a listen.
