After The Work Weekend
I’m back from my first ever business-related trip. I can’t say much about it being work but at least I know that everything will be paid for – by my boss, by the event organizers – by someone else besides me.
Also, I was able to borrow my company’s DSLR and had a blast taking photos of people and the surfing event I had to cover. Anyway, I’ll be posting up the photos once I’m done going over them and doing some touch ups.
Blech. I’m going to be up all night doing my sales report because I had decided to leave my laptop (wrong move) and now I’m piled up with data entry work.
Meanwhile, please ignore my rather cutesy photo on the right. I cannot begin to describe how utterly foolish (and possibly retarded) I look here.
P.S. After being around surfers for two days I’m really adept at progressing with my surfing. Since I’ve met a lot of them who know someone who has a place somewhere, surfing trips might just be way cheaper this time around. Now I only need a surf board to practice and love.
